i wanted to tell you
the contents of my heart
but issues with timing
drew us further apart..
i'm sure i'm an idiot
wishing myself into this
but one can only hope so long
that someone hears their wish.
so i do the only thing i know
that will keep me on a plane
drinking until i am stupid
so i don't miss you quite the same.
